The Christmas List: rethinking

Okay it’s August now and I have 20 items left to make/finish and wrap.  I keep looking for Christmasy gift wrap but no avail, I will have to wait or purchase plain colored wrapping paper and decorate it myself. 
So far I have these done:

The skull scarf for my niece

I’ve started filling our stockings. 

Slipper socks for my niece.

My sister is receiving this shawl.

My first shawl for this winter season.

I have many more of these to make for Christmas,   this pattern is great.

I have done so many ruffle scarves as of late I do not want to picture them.

And a wash cloth for a set for my niece.

I know they’ll be more to come, and much more color.

Status update, the Christmas List

As many of you know I’ve already been crossing items off my Christmas list, one item I’ve started is a sweater, this was started in December with myself in mind, well it’s not going to fit me, in the slightest.   It will be to big.  This week I haven’t had any time to work on it or any other items.    But back to the sweater, I found a pale green color that was Vintage wool. 

I love this color but the recipient will hate it.  So I am going to dye it turquoise when it is finished.  I hope your Christmas presents will be colorful, even if it seems so far away.
