Christmas 2015: ugly sweater saga

Standard

This Christmas I am planning on making ugly sweaters for my family.

This scrap yarn sweater is a knitted top down Regan pullover, for my niece.  Its not that ugly.  I’m pretty confident that it is not overly huge for her.

It was really fun to knit!

A martha stewart knit and weave loom kit.  It was missing the crochet hook and yarn needles.  But it’s not like I don’t  have both running around the house.

I used the kit to make a simple loom to weave a trivet before running errands today.

Here it is finished.

Now I’m working on making large woven squares to sew into a blanket for my father.  Using scrap yar it makes a great colorful square.
